To ensure a seamless experience, we kindly request that reservations be made through phone, email, or text. We highly recommend making reservations well in advance, particularly during peak periods such as summer and holidays.
For boarding services, a non-refundable deposit of 50% will be charged upfront upon booking, with the remaining balance due on the pick-up date.
For overnight services, a non-refundable deposit of 50% will be charged upfront upon booking, and the remaining balance must be settled by the last day of service.
This deposit is necessary to reserve your requested dates.
Once the deposit is received, we will promptly send you a confirmation of your booking, along with any additional details you may require before the service.
To ensure optimal service and accommodate our valued clients, we require an upfront 50% non-refundable deposit for all in-home overnight pet sitting and boarding reservations. Please note that ALL PAYMENTS made are non-refundable.
During peak holidays, there is an additional fee to accommodate the increased demand and ensure top-quality care. For pet visits and dog walks, a surcharge of +$15.00 applies, while for overnights and boardings, the surcharge is +$20.00.
Note that the following days are considered "Holidays" with the associated surcharge: New Year's Eve, New Year's Day, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day.
We accept Checks, Zelle, Venmo, Cash, Paypal and Credit Cards with a 3.49% processing fee for credit card payments.
For our regular dog walking clients, payment is due at the end of each week.
In the event that you need to cancel our services, we kindly request a minimum of 48 hours' notice prior to the scheduled visit or walk. Cancellations made with shorter notice will incur the full rate charge to ensure fair compensation for our dedicated Pawfect Staff, including same-day cancellations. Please note that for boarding or overnight services, the reservation deposit is non-refundable upon cancellation. As we often have to turn away potential clients due to limited availability, we greatly appreciate your understanding and advanced notice of any cancellations. Your cooperation allows us to better accommodate all our valued clients.
When you book our sitters for a specific duration, you are reserving our team's time, resources, and commitment to care for your pets during that entire period.
In the event that you return home before the end of your scheduled pet sitting period, you will be charged for the entire duration initially booked. This policy ensures that we can maintain our quality of service, allocate resources effectively, and fairly compensate our pet sitters for the time they have dedicated to caring for your pets.
When you reserve specific dates with us, we may have to decline other potential clients who have requested the same dates/times. These rejected bookings represent an opportunity cost for our business. Our Early Return Policy helps us mitigate this loss by ensuring that our clients are committed to the dates they initially booked.
We strongly advise selecting a 24-hour veterinarian to address potential emergencies. Emergencies can occur outside of regular business hours, making it crucial to have access to veterinary care around the clock.
For added peace of mind, we require for 2-3 emergency contacts. In the rare event that we are unable to reach you, having these contacts ensures that we can swiftly make decisions to address any situation that may arise.
To ensure the safety of all your pets, we require that all boarding pets are up to date with their vaccines.
A pet sitting form is required for boarding, overnights, walks and drop in visits clients to record the important details of your pet: breed, age, weight, veterinary contact, emergency contacts, their likes and dislikes, their feeding schedule, medication dosage, preferences and any medical issues that may be relevant.
The pet sitting forms should be sent to the sitter and/or kept at the home in plain sight so your pet sitter can easily find it for reference.
This form will be sent to you at the moment of booking.
To ensure efficient scheduling we request a 2-hour window around your preferred walk/visit time. Please note that same day requests may not be accommodated during peak holidays and walking/visit times, which are typically between 7:00-10:00 am, 12:00-2:00 pm, and 4:00-8:00 pm from Monday to Friday. During these periods, a 3-hour window may be required to fulfill your request.
Our pet sitting policy requires that cats be visited at least once every 24 hours, while dogs will be visited at least twice a day, with no more than a 12-hour gap between visits. We do not offer every other day visits during pet sitting as our aim is to provide the best possible care for your furry companions.
To prioritize the well-being and safety of all pets in our care, we reserve the right to decline boarding services for aggressive animals, those displaying severe separation anxiety, or those suspected of a contagious disease. This measure ensures the overall health and comfort of all guests.
Our primary responsibility is to provide attentive care to your pets, ensuring their comfort, health, and safety throughout the duration of our services.
This includes: feeding, providing fresh water, administering medication (if required and specified), exercising, and offering companionship and affection.
We are not responsible for undertaking any tasks unrelated to the care of your pets while we are on-site.
This includes but is not limited to waiting for vendors (such as repair technicians, delivery services, etc.), supervising cleaning crews, gardeners, or any other personnel working within the premises.
If there are scheduled visits or tasks by external parties during our pet sitting services, it is the client's responsibility to ensure that arrangements are made directly with the respective service providers.
We recommend informing these parties of our presence and providing any necessary access instructions to ensure minimal disruption to our pet care duties.
For security and transparency, we request that you inform us in advance if anyone else will be entering your house while you are away. This includes individuals such as family members, friends, neighbors, workers, house cleaners, and others. Your prompt notification helps us maintain a comprehensive understanding of who has access to your property.
